Jose J. Ruiz
Firm stewardship, governance, capability science, and the discipline behind the standards of practice.
Practice
The work, the lineage, the standard.
Jose is the Chairman and Managing Partner of Anker Bioss. He is the steward of the firm's identity, its long arc, and the standards of practice that make its work recognisable across markets. He remains actively engaged with clients on the most consequential decisions boards and CEOs face.
His career sits at the intersection of executive search, capability science, and the diagnosis of complex business challenges — where governance, organization design, and the human judgment leaders must hold under pressure meet. He advises founders, CEOs, and boards on succession, senior appointments, and the design of the organization around the decisions that matter most.
Jose brings the BIOSS lineage of Levels of Work and organizational complexity into contemporary practice, connecting institutional stewardship with the day-to-day work of the people entrusted to carry it. He is based in Houston and works across the Americas and Europe with the wider Anker Bioss network.
